ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jet Thomason graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from the University of Oklahoma in 2002. Immediately after graduation, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in the musical theatre industry. In addition to performing at multiple regional theatres around the country including Goodspeed Opera House and Music Theatre of Wichita, Jet was the understudy for the role of Che on the national tour of EVITA. He was also a principal singer on a cruise ship that traveled all over the world. Jet has performed in the New York workshop productions of Up in the Air (with Hunter Foster, John Tartaglia, and Kelli O'Hara), The Count of Monte Cristo (with Jeremy Jordan), and Sleepy Hollow: the Musical (1st national recording). In addition to "The New York Actor's Survival Guide," Jet has written three full-length screenplays, four short films, and an educational  journal.
